Word from IT World is that Google is integrating Gmail with Google Wallet so "users can send payments as a mail attachment, even if the recipient doesn't have a Gmail address".“Google loves to use Gmail as a seedbed for nascent services," said Yankee Group Principal Analyst Jason Armitage."Google has been pushing Wallet in mobile payments and online since 2011."Although it’s not fledgling, Google wants to supercharge its payment play by adding a pay button for the benefit of the hundreds of millions of Gmail devotees."This is a canny move.
